Bird is the word

Birds and flowers have always gone hand in hand in my work. Some of my earliest drawings as a child were of birds, and that fascination has never left me. I’m drawn to their incredible variety, their shimmery colours, their quirks, and the quiet magic of knowing they’re ancient creatures, descended from dinosaurs.
